Alice Burns à étée blessée à cause d'Alfred Spencer,le beau-père de Waylon.Il recherchait son beau-fils,et Alice lui avait menti en expliquant qu'il était parti à l'étranger.Elle avait l'intention de poser sa main gauche sur sa palette de vêtisphère pour choisir une arme et pour se défendre,mais Alfred était plus rapide qu'il avait tabassé la jeune femme de ses poings rageurs.
Quelques heures après,Alice se réveilla en douceur et remarqua son père C.Montgomery Burns,en train de dormir à coté d'elle,sûrement par crainte ou par amour paternel.
